M
usic is the medium that brought Barbara Taft and Abraham Davidson together years ago and music is the medium that has brought them together with thousands of people whose lives have been enriched by their harmonies. Drawing from musical influences as diverse as classic hymns, ancient Jewish melodies, Black spirituals, contemporary folk, country and pop, Barbara and Abraham weave an enchanting spell with their original songs of love, faith, hope, peace and joy.

Barbara Taft, originally from Detroit, appeared on a weekly television show, on radio and in concert with The Motif, a Detroit performing arts group. After moving to Houston, Barbara performed solo at weddings, in churches and for other private engagements until she met Abraham Davidson when they began singing as a duet. Barbara appeared in the Touchstone Pictures film Heartbreak Hotel, playing one of Elvis Presley's backup singers, the Sweet Inspirations. A songwriter as well as a singer, she released Raw Material, a CD of her original songs.

Abraham Davidson, a singer and songwriter, has performed internationally, including appearances at the Kerrville Folk Festival, the American Center in Paris, the American School in Nazareth, the Boardinghouse Theater in San Francisco, and the famed Gerdes Folk City in New York. Before joining forces with Barbara, he produced an album of original songs, entitled Children of Creation
